General terms and conditions

1: Registration: Registration is made in writing, verbally or online. The registration is always binding. The registration is valid as soon as it has been confirmed by the Ski and Snowboard School. The confirmation of the registration does not require any special form. If there is no possibility to hold the course in one of the above mentioned course areas Hündle or Sinswang, the ski school reserves the right to move the course to the other course area.

2: Number of participants: Group courses will be held with a minimum of 4 participants. If there are less participants, the Ski and Snowboard School is entitled to increase the course price per person or to shorten the course time.

3: Lift transportation fees: the course fee does not include the lift transportation fee.

4: Cancellation of courses: Only the Ski and Snowboard School is entitled to cancel a course. (e.g. in case of bad weather or online booking within 24 hours) In these cases course fees will be refunded proportionally. The participant is not entitled to any claims for damages.

5: Payment: The payment of course and rental fees is made before the start of the course in the course of the online booking online, by cash or EC payment on site. The amount of the fees is stated in the brochure or on the Internet.

6: Course cancellation and refund: Course cancellations due to force majeure will result in an appropriate partial refund. Likewise in case of obvious injury or illness of the participant. The Ski and Snowboard School may require a medical certificate for this purpose. Cancellation of the course due to misconduct on the part of the participant will not result in a refund.

7: Cancellation and cancellation fee online registration: Cancellation of the contract is possible until 14 days before the start of the course at the latest. For cancellations of courses booked online, payments by payment link or credit cards, a cancellation fee of Euro 20,- will be charged. If, on the other hand, the cancellation is made at a later date, the Ski and Snowboard School is entitled to charge the full agreed rate as a cancellation fee.

8: Contents of the online offer: The Ski and Snowboard School assumes no responsibility for the timeliness, accuracy, completeness or quality of the information provided. Liability claims against the Ski and Snowboard School, which refer to damages of material or immaterial nature caused by use or disuse of the information or the use of incorrect and incomplete information are excluded, unless the Ski and Snowboard School is no demonstrably intentional or grossly negligent fault.

All offers are subject to change and non-binding. The Ski and Snowboard School expressly reserves the right to change, supplement or delete parts of the pages or the entire offer without prior notice, or to cease publication temporarily or permanently.

9: Liability: The Ski and Snowboard School is not liable for property damage and accidents of the participant during the course. For damages caused by the participant, the participant is directly liable to the injured party. The conclusion of an accident, health and liability insurance is obligatory.

10: Place of performance, jurisdiction and venue: The place of performance is 87534 Oberstaufen. The parties agree that German law shall apply. For all disputes in connection with the present contractual relationship, the exclusive jurisdiction of the court having subject-matter jurisdiction for Oberstaufen is agreed.

Important information for parents

With your help you make it easier for your child to start in ski school.

 

  • Prepare your child for the ski school so that he or she can start with joy.
  • Bring your child to the meeting point on time and pick it up again in time.
  • Let your child be alone with the instructor during the lessons. You can observe your child from distance. The Kinderland itself is a "parent-free zone”.
  • If you trust the ski instructor your child will enjoy playing with the equipment and snow.
  • Do not put loose scarves on your child.
  • warm clothes, dry gloves, skiing boots, a good ski goggle and sun protection is very important.
  • Wearing a helmet is obligatory.
  • We recommend back protection for the levels red and black.
  • Inform the ski instructor about allergies and health restrictions of your child.
  • Children in beginner lessons do not need ski sticks.
  • Accident and liability insurance are the responsibility of the participants.

Snowboard lesson schedule and content

BEGINNER | Green

Day 1:

  • Warm up

  • Get used to the board with exercises
  • Rise and fall properly
  • Sliding in the plane
  • Brake and stop
  • Sloping slide

Day 2:

  • Warm up
  • Fix sloping slides
  • First curves
  • Exercise and strengten curves
  • Lift riding

Day 3:

  • Warm up
  • Improving curves on blue slopes

Goals:
Getting used to the board, find position and slip diagonally, leading to first curves

BASICS | Blue 1

Day 1:

  • Warm up
  • Rise and fall properly
  • Slide in the plane, brake and stop
  • Sloping slide
  • Developing and improving first curves

Day 2:

  • Warm up
  • Fix sloping slides
  • Improving first curves
  • Training connected curves
  • Lift riding

Day 3:

  • Warm up
  • Strengthen curves on blue slopes

Goals:
Stabilizing the right position on the board, safe turns on blue slopes

BASICS | Blue 2

Day 1:

  • Warm up
  • Improve first turns
  • Train riding turns on blue slopes

Day 2:

  • Warm up
  • Train curves with regard to curve radius and angle
  • First freestyle elements

Day 3:

  • Warm up
  • Strengthen Turns on blue and red slopes
  • Build freestyle elements in our rides

Goals:
Stabilizing the right position on the board, safe turns with first freestyle elements

ADVANCED | Red – upon request

Day 1:

  • Warm up
  • Repeat rise and fall properly
  • Find the right position on the board
  • Repeat curve technique
  • Exercise turns

Day 2:

  • Warm up
  • Ride turns with freestyle elements
  • Switch rides
  • Exercise turns
  • First experiences in FunPark

Goals:
Stabilizing the right position on the board, riding safe and controlled turns with freestyle elements

EXPERTS | Black – upon request
